How We Handle Your Data
Working editors built this tool. This page tells you what happens to your data, where it goes, and what you can do about it.
What We Collect
Account Info
Your email, your name, and which subscription you hold. Nothing beyond what you type at signup.
Project Information
File names, when you uploaded them, and project details. We use this to help you organize your work and run the service.
Activity History
A record of what you ran and when. We read it for billing and when you write to support.
Where Your Data Lives
Your data is stored safely in a few secure places:

Retention by Data Type
We keep only what we need to run the product. Here’s the plain-language retention summary by data type.

- Data isolation: projects are access-controlled; users only see what their account is allowed to see.
- Encryption: data is protected in transit and encrypted at rest where stored.
- No AI training: we do not use your content to train AI models.
- Portability: exports let you take your data with you (no lock‑in required).

What We Track (And Don't)
- Product analytics - page views, CTA clicks, outbound/email clicks, signup, login, checkout, trial, and purchase events
- Free tool analytics - tool page views, starts, completions, errors, exports, file type, file size, and the first free tool that led to signup
- Performance monitoring - page and app timing data so we can find slow or broken workflows
- Error reporting - client-side errors, failed API calls, console warnings/errors, app version, current URL, browser details, IP address, referrer, and capped stack traces
- Login security - authentication state, App Check, and security logs needed to keep accounts protected
- Session recordings or heat mapping tools that watch what you click
- Ad pixels or remarketing networks that follow you around
- Tracking cookies that follow you across other websites
- Selling or sharing analytics data with advertisers
How We Protect Your Data
We protect your data with simple, layered security. Think of it like a bank - multiple safeguards keep your money safe.
Encrypted Connection
Your files are sent in a protected tunnel. Like mailing something in a locked box instead of on a postcard.
Data Checking
We check everything you send us before we use it. Bad data gets blocked automatically.
Secure Passwords
Credentials are handled through managed authentication systems, and we use secure token and session controls.
Activity Tracking
We keep a log of everything that happens on the system. If something goes wrong, we can see exactly what occurred.
Always Watching
Our systems are continuously monitored, with automated alerts for unusual activity.
Separated Systems
Your files are processed in their own secure area. Problems in one part don't affect other users' data.
Error Alerts
If something breaks, alerts help us respond quickly.
Your Data Rights
Your data belongs to you. Here’s what you can do with it:
Download Your Data
Export everything - your account, projects, and activity history. It’s yours to keep or use wherever you like.
You can re-download anytime.
Delete Your Account
Want to leave? You can delete your entire account and all your data. We’ll remove everything.
You have 7 days to change your mind. After that, it’s gone forever.
Take Your Data With You
Export your data in formats compatible with other tools. You’re not locked in.

The 7-Day Grace Period
- Day 1: You request deletion. We will send you a confirmation email.
- Days 2-6: Your account still works. You can cancel anytime if you change your mind.
- Day 7: We send a reminder that deletion is happening soon.
- Day 8: Your account is deleted forever.
Why? So you have time to download your data and make sure you really want to delete everything.
